Scenic Brick Work for Harry Potter Promotion

Completed August 13, 2015

Installation at Kings Cross Train Station in London to advertise Harry Potter at Universal Studios in Florida.
A commissioned scenic artist painted a cloth to look like Diagon Alley and I assisted Presentation Design Services create the brick surround for the installation to have more depth.

Design & Construction

An in house carpenter made the frame work in sections that fits together. I sanded back the edges of the bricks to make them look old and more realistic. We covered it in idenden to cover any staples, gaps, and seams. It give it a good surface to paint on and makes it whole. We mixed 3 brick colours and painted them on messy blending them together slightly on the surface. We painted the grouting in which bought the wall to life.
